How long do copper pipes last?
There are three commonly used types of copper pipe: M-type, L-type, and K-type.

K-type copper pipes are the thickest of the three varieties. These are quite expensive and can withstand high pressure. They often last 100 years or more. They tend to be found in industrial systems or municipal water mains rather than in residential settings.
